Mamoun's is a popular narrow hole-in-the-wall with a line out the door whenever we were on Macdougal. The falafel was big, tasty, fresh, cheap and filling and the service was fast and friendly. The decor is minimalist with very minimalist seating. Their website says they are a restaurant - a falafel in cheek over statement.

Good To Knows: Cash. Takeout. Limited Seating. Vegetarian Kid and Wheelchair Friendly. Limited Street Parking. Metro. NYU students go to place for a quick lunch and a quick stumble from the bar munch.
