We went because of the history dating back to 1908. The times when the likes of Caruso, DeNiro, Sinatra and the Rat Pack would hang here. Because Heath Ledger who lived up the street would eat his breakfast here prior to his passing. Located in Little Italy and filled with tourists like us. There were some old has been low life gangsters at the rear bar that added a certain John Gotti feel to the place. It's an eclectic atmosphere with a mish mash decor job which doesn't come close to working. The service was quite good. The place was crowded, bustling with noise and energy. The food came plentiful and above average in taste. They have Lunch and Dinner Prix Menu Specials which are hard to resist and are way to much food, but whattiya goin to do, eh? You give in to it and enjoy.
