Balthazar Bakery is next door to the pricey highly rated Balthazar restaurant. It's a reasonable and very good choice for a quick breakfast coffee and a bun. The help couldn't have been nicer. The young lady volunteered to slice the sticky bun into thin slices so it would be easier to eat. Then she saw the guidebook, camera and water bottle I was carrying and again volunteered to give me one of their larger bags to hold my stuff and the goodies. It really came in handy throughout our day - it became Danny's "Man Bag". We then went out and sat on one of their street benches and watched the world and long legged models go by in their little corner of Soho.
